Sheridan Historical Center

Our Historical Center is located at the very center of Sheridan, on the corner of U.S. Route 20 and Center Road. It houses two floors of displays chronicling Sheridan’s agricultural history, daily life, schools, and organizations. We are open seasonally on select days or by appointment. Please call (716) 673-1822 for more information or to make an appointment.

Our home has a story of its own to tell. It was built in 1929 by the local chapter of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows. Located at the heart of town, it quickly became a community gathering spot. For the latter part of the 20th century, it functioned as the Sheridan town hall.
